We drove to Tofino, arriving at midnight. An empty beach lit by the moonlight, waves rolling into the shore in a soft, steady crash. Only moments before I’d been dozing off in the car. Finding ourselves on this perfect, empty beach felt like the perfect slice of life. So we made a few images together to capture it.
The next day they taught me how to surf. Turns out it’s really awesome. I’d do it again, even in November. Then we caught the beautiful light that softens in the sky at sunset and saw the moonrise. Christie & Kevin together, on the beach where they met, the beach where they got engaged.
